1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Salazar Cleaning Services (“Salazar Cleaning Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you visit salazarcleaningservices.net (the “Site”), contact us, request a quote, or book or receive any of our cleaning services (the “Services”).
By using the Site or booking Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book Services. If you are booking on behalf of a company, HOA, landlord, or property manager, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. Our Services
We provide exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial properties in Los Angeles and cities within roughly 30 miles, including:
- Solar panel cleaning, including post-wildfire cleaning;
- Window cleaning, including hard water stain removal, screens, tracks, and post-construction cleaning; and
- Gutter cleaning, including debris removal, downspout flushing, and condition reports.
The exact scope of each job (what will be cleaned, the method, and the price) is described in your Agreement. Work outside that scope, such as repairs, additional surfaces, or extra visits, requires your approval and may be billed separately.
3. Using the website
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and business purposes related to learning about and requesting our Services. You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, or someone else’s information;
- use the Site to send spam, malware, or unlawful content;
- scrape, copy, or reproduce Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission;
- interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or attempt to access systems you are not authorized to access; or
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
Information on the Site, including pricing ranges, cleaning-frequency guides, statistics, and educational content, is provided for general information only. It is not a quote, a guarantee, or professional engineering, roofing, or electrical advice.
4. Quotes & estimates
- Quotes are complimentary and are based on the information you provide, such as property size, number of panels, windows, or gutter length, stories, access, and condition.
- Pricing ranges shown on the Site are general guides, not offers. Your price is the one stated in your Agreement.
- A quote is valid for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, it is valid for 30 days.
- If conditions on site differ materially from what was described (for example heavier buildup, bonded ash or mineral deposits, additional panels or windows, or restricted access), we will explain the difference and ask for your approval before doing additional work at a revised price. You may decline the change, and we will perform only the originally agreed scope where it is safe to do so.
5. Scheduling & access
Appointments are scheduled by agreement. Arrival times are estimates and may shift because of traffic, weather, or earlier jobs; we will keep you informed. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the areas to be cleaned on the scheduled date, including unlocked gates and clear paths. You do not need to be home for most exterior work, but we may need you or your representative available by phone.
6. Your responsibilities
To help us work safely and effectively, you agree to:
- tell us about known hazards, such as fragile or damaged roofing, loose panels, electrical issues, damaged gutters, beehives, or aggressive animals;
- keep pets indoors or secured during the visit;
- move vehicles, furniture, and fragile items away from work areas where reasonably possible;
- tell us about any manufacturer requirements or warranty conditions that apply to your solar panels, windows, coatings, or gutter guards;
- confirm that you own the property or are authorized to allow the work, and obtain any HOA or landlord approval needed; and
- provide accurate information when requesting a quote.
7. Weather, safety & right to refuse
The safety of our crew and your property comes first. We may postpone, pause, or decline work when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, including rain, high winds, extreme heat, poor air quality or wildfire smoke, wet or damaged roofing, unsafe access, aggressive animals, or any condition we reasonably believe creates a risk of injury or damage. When that happens, we will work with you to reschedule, and you will not be charged for work that was not performed.
8. Cancellations & rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible, ideally at least 24 hours before your appointment. Any cancellation or late-change fee will be stated in your Agreement; if none is stated, no fee applies. We may reschedule if weather, safety, or other circumstances beyond our control prevent the visit, and we will notify you as soon as practical.
9. Pricing & payment
- Prices, payment methods, and payment timing are stated in your Agreement. Unless it says otherwise, payment is due when the work is completed.
- Commercial and recurring accounts may be invoiced according to the payment terms in the Agreement.
- Prices include applicable taxes, if any, unless the Agreement states otherwise.
- If a payment is late, we may pause future appointments until the account is current and may recover reasonable collection costs as permitted by law.
- Promotions, bundle savings, and membership savings cannot be combined unless we state otherwise in writing.
10. Packages & memberships
Packages such as Solar Essential, Solar + Glass, and Complete Exterior combine services in a single visit. Six-month maintenance memberships provide scheduled visits, appointment reminders, and priority rebooking. The $25 savings applies to the annual Complete Exterior Membership. Final scope, visit schedule, pricing, eligibility, renewal, and cancellation terms for any membership are confirmed in your membership Agreement.
11. Results & pre-existing conditions
We take care to do thorough work, but results depend on conditions outside our control. You understand that:
- Solar output: cleaning removes soiling, but we do not guarantee any specific increase in energy production or savings, which depend on your system, weather, shading, equipment condition, and utility rates.
- Glass: hard water stains that have etched into glass, scratches, failed seals, coating damage, and fogging between panes may not be fully removable by cleaning.
- Gutters: our condition notes are observations made during cleaning, not a professional roofing, structural, or drainage inspection. Cleaning does not repair leaks, rust, sagging, separated seams, or improper slope unless your Agreement includes that work.
- Pre-existing conditions: we are not responsible for damage or wear that existed before our visit, including cracked or delaminated panels, deteriorated seals or caulking, brittle or damaged roofing, loose or corroded gutters, weakened fascia, or failing window frames. Items like these may become visible during cleaning, and we will point them out when we notice them.
12. Service concerns & damage claims
If you are not satisfied with any part of the work, please contact us as soon as possible after the visit, and ideally within 7 days, with a description and photos where helpful. We will review it in good faith, and where the work did not meet the agreed scope, we will return to address the affected areas at no extra charge.
If you believe our work caused damage to your property, notify us promptly, before any repair where possible, and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect it. We will work with you in good faith to resolve valid claims for damage caused by our negligence.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost energy production, lost profits, or loss of use, arising from the Site or the Services. Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for our willful misconduct, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under California law (including California Civil Code § 1668).
14. Website disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Site will always be available or error-free. This section does not limit any commitments we make about the Services in your Agreement.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or information you provide that you knew was false, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct.
16. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, design, graphics, illustrations, animations, logos, and code, is owned by or licensed to Salazar Cleaning Services and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission. “Salazar Cleaning Services” and our logo are our trademarks.
17. Communications
By submitting a request or providing your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you by call, text message, or email about your request, quotes, appointments, and account. We will only send marketing messages with your consent, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in an email. Message and data rates may apply. Communications sent electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, and it is part of these Terms.
19. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a concern arises, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in the small claims court for Los Angeles County if it qualifies, or otherwise in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
20. General terms
- Changes: we may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not affect jobs already confirmed in an Agreement.
- Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
- Force majeure: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, wildfires, natural disasters, utility outages, or government orders.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and your Agreement are the entire agreement between us about the Site and the Services.
