1. Overview
Salazar Cleaning Services (“Salazar Cleaning Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit salazarcleaningservices.net (the “Site”), contact us, request a quote, or use our solar panel, window, and gutter cleaning services (together, the “Services”).
This policy is designed to meet the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”), California’s “Shine the Light” law, other applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and, where they apply, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the UK GDPR.
2. Who we are
Salazar Cleaning Services is a Los Angeles, California based exterior cleaning business serving Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. For the purposes of the GDPR and UK GDPR, we are the “controller” of the personal information described in this policy. For the purposes of the CCPA, we are the “business” that determines how your personal information is processed.
You can reach us at info.salazarservices@gmail.com or (818) 714-4721.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact and quote requests: your name, phone number, email address, service address or ZIP code (optional where noted), the service or package you are interested in, and any details you choose to share about your property, such as panel count, number of stories, access notes, or timing.
- Communications: the content of emails, text messages, and phone calls you exchange with us, including notes we make about your request.
- Service and customer records: appointment details, the services performed, property notes needed to do the work safely (for example gate codes, pets, or roof access), condition notes we record during a visit, and records of quotes, invoices, and payments.
- Payment information: if you pay us, we receive the information needed to process and record the payment. Card payments, where offered, are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store full card numbers on the Site.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health information, or government ID numbers) through the Site or by email. We do not need it to provide our Services.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: when analytics are enabled, Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) collects information like pages viewed, time on page, referring website, browser and device type, operating system, screen size, approximate location (city/region derived from your IP address), and interactions such as clicks on our phone number or quote buttons, and when a form is successfully submitted. It does not receive what you type into our forms. See Google Analytics 4 below.
- Server and security data: our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, and keep it secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies & tracking below.
3.3 Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from people who refer you to us, from property managers or HOAs who request service for a property you live in or manage, and from publicly available sources such as online review platforms where you choose to post about us.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your questions and prepare complimentary quotes, including emailing you a confirmation copy of the request you submit;
- schedule, provide, and follow up on the Services, including condition reports and maintenance reminders for membership plans;
- communicate with you by phone, text, or email about your request, appointment, or account;
- process payments, keep business and tax records, and meet our legal obligations;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site, understand which pages are useful, and fix problems;
- protect our customers, workers, and business, including preventing fraud, spam, and misuse;
- enforce our Terms of Service and defend legal claims; and
- for any other purpose we describe to you when we collect the information, or with your consent.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to profile you for advertising.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to prepare quotes at your request and provide the Services you book.
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure, and improve our business and the Site, and to communicate with you about your request, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for analytics and marketing cookies, and for any optional marketing messages. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records and respond to lawful requests.
6. Cookies & tracking technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as your browser’s local storage and tags loaded through Google Tag Manager. We group them into three categories:
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Deliver and secure the Site and remember your privacy choice. | “salazar-consent” (local storage, until you clear it); Cloudflare security cookies such as __cf_bm (about 30 minutes) | Always on |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. | Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years) | On in most U.S. states, with the option to turn off; off in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland until you accept |
| Marketing | Measure advertising and build audiences. | Not currently used | Off until you accept |
We use Google Consent Mode. Google Tag Manager loads on every page, but the tags it runs follow your choices: when analytics or marketing is turned off, those tags do not set cookies for that purpose. Your choice is stored on your device.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. GA4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager.
- What GA4 collects: page views, scrolling and clicks, time spent on pages, the page that referred you, browser, device and operating system details, screen size, language, and approximate location (country, region, and city). We also record a few simple events, such as clicks on our phone number and successful form submissions. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, or anything you type into our forms to Google Analytics.
- IP addresses: GA4 uses your IP address only to estimate your general location and then discards it. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Cookies: GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions:
_ga(expires after 2 years) and_ga_<ID>(expires after 2 years). These cookies are set only when analytics is allowed. - When analytics is turned off: under Google Consent Mode, GA4 does not set or read cookies and does not use persistent identifiers. Google tags may still send limited, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded, a timestamp, and your browser type), which Google may use in aggregate to estimate overall site traffic. These signals are not used to identify you or build a profile about you.
- Advertising features: GA4 advertising features, such as Google signals, remarketing, and advertising personalization, are only used if you allow marketing, and they are not currently enabled.
- Retention: GA4 keeps user-level and event-level data for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reports that do not identify individuals may be kept longer.
- Google’s role: Google processes this information on our behalf under its data processing terms, and it may be processed on servers in the United States and other countries (see International transfers). Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data.
Managing your choices: you can change your preferences at any time using Cookie settings, also linked in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.
7. Global Privacy Control & Do Not Track
Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor GPC browser signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. When we detect GPC, marketing tools stay off for that browser.
Do Not Track: as required by CalOPPA, we disclose that there is no common industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” browser signals, so the Site does not respond to them. You can use GPC or our Cookie settings to control tracking instead.
8. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below:
- Service providers: companies that help us run our business and the Site, under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us. These include website hosting and security (Cloudflare), website tag management and analytics (Google), website form and email delivery (Resend), email and business communication tools, scheduling and invoicing tools, and payment processors.
- Crew members and contractors who need your address, contact details, and property notes to perform the Services.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, and lawyers, where needed.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, workers, the public, or us.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
- With your direction or consent, for example when you ask us to coordinate with your property manager.

13. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including:
- Quote and contact requests that do not lead to service: up to 24 months, so we can follow up and answer later questions.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site, access limited to people who need the information, and reputable service providers with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
15. Children’s privacy
Our Site and Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We do not send marketing text messages without your prior express written consent, and consent is never a condition of purchase. You can replySTOP to any text message to opt out, and follow the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email. Message and data rates may apply. We will still send messages that are necessary to complete a service you requested.
